Orders and Payment

All cake orders require a non-refundable deposit to be paid. Without the stated required amount, your order is not confirmed and no spaces will be saved or pencilled in.

Balances for standard cakes are required on or before delivery/collection. I do not accept “pay later” terms.

Cakes that require delivery to a venue and set up must be paid for no later than a week before the required date.

Wedding cakes must be paid for in full, no later that 8 weeks prior to the date of the wedding.

Due to problems with Paypal payments later being reserved, I am sorry we can no longer take this form of payment


Cancellations must be made in writing via inbox or email and all deposits are non-refundable.

Deposits maybe transferable if made within 7 working days of the event. This can be subject to costs of any items ordered or made in advance being subtracted.


We offer deliveries for any order.

Orders over £30 and within Grantham Town are free. Orders under £30 are £2 within Grantham or 40p per mile each way.

Deliveries out of Grantham for any amount are subject to a charge of 40p per mile each way. Deliveries and set up for weddings or functions may also incur time charges which will be discussed.

Delivery slots and times are limited so if you require delivery please discuss this at the time of your booking.


Please note; The date that you book your cake for, will be the date it is ready for collection. I frequently get customers who book in, then during the week the cake is due, ask to collect it 1-2 days earlier. This may not be possible due to other orders, so please consider this at the time of booking.

Your cake will come fully boxed up so it is easy to transport. They should always be transported flat, preferably in a car boot with a non-slip mat or in the foot well of the car. I do not recommend the cake(s) be travelled on the car seat or on someone’s knee.

Once the cake has left our premises we do not accept any responsibility for any damage caused in transit.

Changes to your order

Any changes to design, colour, flavours, etc. must be notified in writing via email or inbox no later than 7 days prior to the date that the cake is due. Wedding cakes must be no later than 4 weeks to the date that the cake is due.

All changes could be subject to additional charges.

Non-edible items

Your order could contain non-edible items which you will be advised about.

It is your responsibility to remove these prior to consumption.

Non-edible items may include – support dowels, flower pics, cake toppers, ribbons.

Food allergies


We cannot guarantee that our cakes will be nut free, due to using nuts and marzipan in out kitchen.

Any food allergies/intolerances must be discussed prior to ordering.

All our products come with an allergen warning sticker.


As all our cakes are hand and individually made, some varieties could occur to colour and design. Although we do our best to replicate our designs.

We do not duplicate other cake makers designs due to copyright. However, we can make something very similar which will contain subtle differences.

We reserve the right to make any necessary changes to designs without notification if the circumstances or environment dictate this.

We do not accept any responsibility for your cake once it has left our premises or if damaged at the venue by someone else. We take photos of all cakes set up at venues once set up and assembled.


In the highly unusual event that you are not happy with your cake after receiving it. You must in the first instance contact us by phone or email/inbox within 24 hours and return 90% of the cake order for us to inspect (we keep samples of all orders for testing purposes for 2 weeks).

It is at our discretion to issue partial refunds up to a maximum of 50%.
